Rijnberg, Frans Andries 1879-1959 met zijn broers Andries Jasper en Jasper Dirk of MatthijsFrans zit meerdere keren in de gevangenis wegens diefstal. De eerste keer van 30 dec 1890 tot 28 juni 1891 en de laatste keer van 15 augustus tot 13 november 1893. De eerste keer is hij pas 11 jaar en 1 m 23 lang, de laatste keer 14 jaar, 1m 32, zwart haar (als hij 11 is, staat er blond haar), blauwe ogen, breed voorhoofd, gewone neus, grote mond, ovaal gezicht, geen baard, en gedraagd zich goed. Komt op 5 oktober 1901 met de Alberta aan in San Francisco. Wordt in januari 1914 US Citizen.

De foto met drie broers heb ik van Marjo Stoutjesdijk. Het zouden Frans, Andries en Matthijs zijn. Omdat ik van Matthijs nergens een vermelding zie dat hij in Amerika geweest is hou ik de optie open dat de derde misschien Jasper is.....

"Youth Paralyzed, Girl Disfigured In Auto Crash
Melvin Rynberg, Alameda youth suffered a spine injury which has paralyzed him from the waist down, and Miss Caroline Duckhorn, 22, Sebastopol, had fourteen stitches taken to close deep lacerations in her face, as result of a collision between two automobiles at Smith’s Corners on the Sebas-topol-Santa Rosa highway Sunday. Others injured in the crash were H. Peterson, Alameda, driver of one of the cars, who was arrested for drunken driving; Frank Lawrence, Sebastopol, driver of the other carin which Miss Duckhorn was riding, and the girl's brother, whose name was not known." Fordyce D. Courneen Jr. was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. A child of divorce, he often spent his time with his childhood friends and a variety of animals. His favorites were his mare, Babe, and his dog, Sandy. His love of animals he passed on to his children.
Never finishing high school until his later years, he set sail as a merchant marine, traveling the world throughout his youth.
He later married and settled in Alameda with the love of his life, Marie Louise Rynberg. Their home was built by her brother, Frank Rynberg. Frank and his wife Jacqueline (Jackie) were lifelong best friends to the both of them. They lived there together until Marie’s death in 1980.
They had four children. Bryan, a son, passed away shortly after his birth. Fordyce is survived by the couple’s three daughters: Karen (Sam) LaCroce, Jacqueline Courneen and Monica (Drew) Miller; a sister, Ann Clifford; a granddaughter, Meghan (Daniel) Price, as well as a large extended family with a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews and their offspring.
In his later years he pursued his dream of living in the beauty of Washington State. He lived a simple life and enjoying his time at area restaurants, meeting with his local buddies for coffee several times a week until his health would no longer allow it.
Per his request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers or cards, because of his love of animals, a donation to the Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter would be appreciated by his family.
